How to talk to aliens PART 1 - The Theory...
Having theorised, and supported with some evidence,
the idea that the best or only way to communicate with distant
aliens is telepathically, the challenge for the developers of
World Contact Year was to come up with a simple and widely usable
technique for assisting relative amateurs in telepathing with
extraterrestrials.
HOW IT WORKS
Our plan was based on the theory that long distance telepathy
will be most effective:
-
… when the telepath is focussing on a single, simple,
clear message with both their conscious and subconscious mind
- … when the telepath is in a semi hypnotic state
such as when listening to music or focussing on other artistic
creations.
- …when multiple individuals all focus on the SAME
message at the same time – building up a collective communication
All of the above can be achieved through telepathing while listening
to a piece of music that is designed to clearly state the telepaths
message. The music puts the individual into a relaxed and creative
(and hence telepathically viable ) mindset then focuses them on
the alien contact message through simple lyrics. What’s
more, when hundreds of people listen to the music at the same
time, for example at a festival or club, the collective communication
is a hundred times stronger, while still sending a coherent message.
DEVELOPING THE MUSIC
The next challenge was how to come up with such a piece of music.
Fortunately one already exists and simply needed modifying for
a modern audience.
In
1976 the Canadian band “Klaatu” wrote the song “Calling
Occupants of Interplanetary Craft – The recognised anthem
of World Contact Day” – in honor of the day that
inspired our whole year of alien contact activities. The song
was later covered more famously by The Carpenters.
With its chorus of “Calling occupants of Interplanetary
Craft” the song was custom built to send the message required.
However, it was thought that the music would be more effective
if the words were simplified and enhanced to really focus on the
key telepathic message.
Also it was decided that the music should be updated into a
variety of different contemporary ‘mixes’ to make
the song appealing and relevant to today’s youth, and to
make it suitable for playing at parties, festivals, clubs etc
where the maximum telepathic impact could be made by channelling
multiple individuals at one time.
To
this end, the youth division of the Panel for Ufo Networking and
eXploration (known informally as “The Young P.U.N.X”)
put together an updated version of the track for 2008. Also the
track has been renamed to “Interplanetary”
which was viewed as slighty more punchy than the original’s
12 word long title!!!
To proceed with the experiment we recommend you get your hands
on the Interplanetary music, the proceed with the instructions
for use!
